Is anyone experiencing low crawls from Google's imagebot? I have two image subdomains where the crawls went down to almost few thousand pages daily from an average of 1 million imagebot crawls. Drop started from Feb 2 and hasn't improved. For the main domain googlebot crawls are not affected.
I have reviewed all the releases we did back from January and nothing seems to impact imagebot crawls. Fetch as Google in Search Console shows no issues with rendering or blocking. No changes were made to block imagebot crawling.
At the same time for one of the image domains the indexed numbers for images dropped by 1 million during the same period. We have seen this number decrease before as well. But then it normally increases again after a week. Not sure if crawls going down has affected index as well.
