Ranking drop - is that an indication of any major Algo update?

Hello All,

I noticed that ranking for some of our top ranking pages has hit rock bottom between the last week of Jan and first week of Feb 2016. The good thing is they are improving again. But I'm not really sure what made some of my pages to lose their ranking between the above said period. No changes were made to these pages during the same period. Has anybody faced some ranking issues during the same period? Is that some kind of Algo update from Google's end?

Have you checked our January Monthly thread [webmasterworld.com...] and February Monthly Thread [webmasterworld.com...] to see if anybody has reported any changes there that would corelate with what you saw on your site?
