If you update a page, there are good chances that you can improve your ranking, but how much time do you have to wait before updating such page?

I would only update the page if there is something useful to add and in that case I do not monitor how much time passed in between. If you are updating the page just to improve ranking, but without adding useful content, it is unlikely the ranking will improve.

Oh no, I do not want to update the page just to improve ranking. I do not know why you thought that, but this is not the case. I have an update concerning the content that is not urgent, but I am wondering if the more I wait the more benefits I get.

Is this a new page that you want to improve or is it an already established page?

The page has been created on Jan the 19th and I never updated it. But I am interested in established pages too, cause I update those too.

You should update pages when it's necessary or desirable to do so. For some pages, that might mean constantly; for others, it might mean almost never.
Updating pages is just a normal part of site maintenance. If it affects rankings, it's likely to do indirectly; for example, by making the page a useful resource that will attract inbound links.

There is no such limit or guideline. Update it when it needs to be updated so that the page is most relevant for the searcher. Simple as.
