Optimized anchors on breadcrumb menu can be dangerous?

I'm working on a estabilished e-commerce and now i'm thinking about optimize the breadcrumb navigation for the money keywords. This e-commerce is pretty small (under 200 links), but i fear that 50 links in navigation with same optimited anchor can hurt my seo.

What do you think about that?

What would a visitor think about these? I mean would the optimised text be fine and make a sense to a visitor?

Yes, because is descriptive.

I'm just worried about adding 100 new anchor text links to same value. Some competitors use the same anchor text and are ranking well.

I'd look at whether it makes the page read bad or just 'seem wierd' for a user. The best advice I was ever given on page text is to read it out loud. When any one word starts sounding wierd, reduce its occurence.
