Why DA and PA Drops Down Just After Redirecting Entire Website?

Howdy all,

Yeah, you heard it right. I've redirected my entire website with 301 redirection. I've observed that my keyword rankings and traffic have been recovered than before but what about DA and PA?

My original website DA and PA are 25 and 35 accordingly but from the time the website has been redirected the both DA and PAT are 1.

I've just wondered that how much time will Google take to regain my original DA and PA after redirecting my entire website.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Cheers,
Audrey

DA (Domain Authority) and PA (Page Authority) are MOZ measures and not Google measures. The fact that this shows drop has nothing to do on how Google may be viewing your site after the 301 move.

You say that rankings and traffic have recovered - this meas Google has no problems with your site move. So I would not worry about DA and PA as this is nothing to do with Google anyway.

Yeah @aakk9999. That's right but lowering down website's DA and PA may lose client's and consumer's trust as it considers as the quality signal for the website. Is there any way to regain these two quality values again like before?

Uh-oh. It sounds a little bit as if the people who sign your paychecks once read an article about SEO, and now they think they know things that ain't necessarily so and they want you to do things that don't really need doing. Is this what's going on?

Hey @lucy24, it’s not like that. I know it's not as worthy as traffic and goal completion, even though I'd a question moving in my mind from the time website is redirected. So, I just asked.

I'm still afraid that website's current PA and DA are like the new website that has just started out.

I'd never heard of this tool before, I've just tried it out, I've just removed it, now I know why I'd never heard of it!
