I have a client with an ecommerce website.
All competitors seem to have a good SEO, excepting one which oddly takes the first position in rankings.
Do you think that websites advertise their online campaigns through click bots and click forms only to improve their click-through-rates success in order to undermine other websites that have a higher authority and are more well known than them ?

Who has the better SEO? :)
It is possible Google is giving a temporary rankings boost if that one site is a newer one. Click bots probably aren't the answer to better position.

I have a page three levels deep that normally gets 20 "visitors" a day, all before noon and all from different countries and IPs. Without any complicated tracking, I know they are bots just from behaviour. I'm certain Google has more advanced capabilities.
