I have an Issue with the integration about GSC and GA.
My customer granted to me access to GSC and GA for his website.

I'm trying to share the data between GSC and GA, but when i go to the SEO Optimization Area in GA and i try to share the access, i don't find the client website in the list. And i don't know why.
I asked my client to do the integration and he said to me that he has GSC/GA integrated.
But nothing changes for me.

How can i solve this issue?

markovald, GSC (Google Search Console, formerly GWT... Google Webmaster Tools) and GA (Google Analytics) integration is likely to involve a third party tool.

While I haven't yet had a chance to try it myself, Screaming Frog has announced that its new v5.0 has some impressive capabilities in this regard. It's of wide enough interest that I'm posting the product announcement, something we haven't generally done in this forum...

Screaming Frog SEO Spider Update – Version 5.0

Google Search Analytics Integration
You can now connect to the Google Search Analytics API and pull in impression, click, CTR and average position data from your Search Console profile. Alongside Google Analytics integration, this should be valuable for Panda and content audits respectively.

PS: Regarding your question above, this, noted in the Screaming Frog article, may relate to your issue...
The Search Analytics API doesn’t provide us with the account name in the same way as the Analytics integration, so once connected it will appear as ‘New Account’, which you can rename manually for now.

Thank you Robert Charlton.

Just to be clear, i'm talking about the official integration GSC/GA (not third part tool), when you go to Acquisition > Search Engine Optimization and you share access to the data in Search Traffic > Search Queries on GSC. So in the list of websites, i see only my personal websites and not the customer website. Please not that i have full access (not the "limited account) on GSC and GA on the customer website. That's so strange.

About Screaming Frog, i know about this wonderful update...this also seems a feature of the paid version.

Hi markovald,
you may have to do it with the root account.. I've seen that altough all access is granted, all parameters are not accessible, I've have some trouble with some clients and using the initial account generaly solved the issue..

Let me know if you figure it out

Best regards

Sorry this sentence apparently slipped my mind.

What does your screen show when you go on the seo part of analytics ? the regular error saying that the accounts aren't linked or something else

Does the site show up in both your own analytics and search console accounts?

You should have him take a screenshot of the SEO part of analytics to make sure the accounts are tied together.
If they are, I would contact Analytics support cause somethings weird.. orelse walk him through the steps ;)

I sended an email to my customer asking him to "Enable Search Console data in Google Analytics". He said to me: "I have already do that. I will do it again" this morning. But nothing happens. When i try to access to this area i don't find the "Search Console site" of my customer in the list. This is very strange because i have full access to the Search Console of this website.

What can be the issue?

Seems that only the owner of the site can do the integration for himself only...
