We just noticed a surprisingly large amount of traffic coming to G+ from organic search results, strangely from the highest volume keywords online, such as amazon, facebook, netflix, etc. Mostly from searches that return a Knowledge Graph.

Seems that in the KG box, the company logo (for example, when searching for Amazon) is often linked to their G+ page, which is puzzling, since users clicking on the Amazon logo, probably expect to reach amazon.com.

See [twitter.com...] for some screenshots and supporting data (disclaimer: my tweet).

What we can't figure out is where the Facebook keyword traffic is coming from, since their logo is one of the few that is NOT linked to G+, but this terms seems to be driving significant traffic to the G+ network.

What do you all think? How is this in terms of user experience? WWJD?
