Same business model, different niches = Cookie Cutter sites?

Hi all, I have a business website i.e. example#1 niche doing really well. I can easily apply this same business model/website layout/products to a completely different 2nd, 3rd and4th niche and the visitors would love the content and products.

The content and layout would be similarly structured across niches but different with keywords, strategies, products etc.

Would Google not like this and consider them cookie cutter websites? I hope not as they are great value for people in different niches but can't really be applied to the same website.

For example: website#1 selling Ford Red Car / website#2 selling Honda Blue Boat

If you're an expert on all the niches, and have the time and ability to create high-quality, useful and unique content relevant to each niche. But when you say "easily", that raises doubts about your commitment to quality.

Years ago, over on warrior, some people used to sell bundles of "ready for adsense" sites like this..starting at around $29.oo ( or was it $59.oo ? ) per site, "original expert content", sourced from the Philippines, and Bangladesh etc..

Some had actual products too, from dropshippers and the wholesale version of alibaba and its myriad clones..

One guy who was selling them retired and bought an island with his profits, he said many of his customers retired and bought islands too..

YMMV :)

In my experience, yes.

I do this with event sites targeted to different locations; all the layout and nav and structure is the same across all sites, but the content is different because each site is targeted to a different location. The first site was created in 1997 and the most recent was created last year. They all rank very well for their locations and keywords, and gain traffic every year. This year the average was 33% more organic traffic across all the sites over last year.

So yes, it can be done. Pay attention to quality, and make sure your users love your sites.
