Combining Content from different sites - 301 or just link or just delete

A few of my sites are casual games.

Now by chance one ranks for a really big search term game, like about 5 million searches per month. It is very competitive. So every few months someone comes onto page one with some keyword domain with 6000 russian backlinks and then drop off after a while.

Now two of my other games sites actually have this game as well and rank OK for it. But I was thinking of concentrating games on each site rather than having same ones ones on a few. The sites all have different focus and different descriptions and some are tagged onto news sites as a sort of distraction area. No duplicate content bar the actual game file. But I mean all games sites tend to have some overlap a some games cross genres a bit.

If I started to strip games out that I want to just be on a single site should I link from the old page, 301 or just not bother touching the setup?

I don't want to do anything dodgy.

The collective PR of one domain traditionally does better. As you have experience with multiple sites I trust you to do well with muliple sites.

301 redirect is best. You will be hit by about 15% loss in PR however this can be mitigated by having your new site on https with SLL.

I own one games site and one movie review site.

Yeah I just thought you know where you have say two sites ranking for keywords maybe bottom of page one and top of page two...maybe better combining.
