You can now ask Google questions about nearby points of interest without specifically naming the point of interest and based on your location, Google will determine what you are referring to and give a relevant answer. This applies to brick and mortar business locations. Danny Sullivan covered this on [searchengineland.com...]

Sample questions Google can now answer:
"When does this store open?"
"What is the name of this statue?"

And it does...and I'm sure local businesses would work on their SEO now.

This applies to brick and mortar business locations


And large chains as well. I tried asking it a question about a local mall's closing hours [google.com.ph ] and it answered the question.

I wonder what the audio equivalent of "below the fold" is? 30 seconds after the sponsored answer?
