Hi,

I am working on a law firm website and facing some ranking issue for organic search results while website ranking fine for local keywords.

15 days before phantom 2 I have noticed 200% increment in webmaster impression and after 29th April (Roll out of Phantom 2) it went back to normal stage.

Historically website was ranking well for organic keywords and seems replaced by local search results (map listing in Google search) and haven’t received any penalty via webmaster and also checked with other 3rd party tools as well and all shows that there is no penalty on website.

Need some advice on how to rank website in both areas (organic + Local search results).

Thanks

I've handled many local websites and there tends to be a good overlap of ranking signals for organic vs local map listings and little that will help one area at the expense of the other. Here is a quick & oversimplified list of things to start looking at ... consistent and nearby name/address/phone, customer reviews, keywords/synonyms, quality links, establishing authority.
