Does anyone know if there is an SEO benefit to joining the Google Trusted Stores program?

I haven't seen that it has done anything for our organics in particular.
However I think it's useful for the ads. We've got five stars next to the company name in all our ads (which is the average rating we get from customers in the Trusted Store program), plus you get to add a tagline to your ad (ours says "Recognized for excellent customer service - Google Trusted Stores"); you have to use their wording, but you get to pick which one out of several. And my shopping ads all have little Trusted Store checkmarks next to them.
They've just relaxed some of the requirements, but even before they did that, I considered it probably worthwhile. You no longer have to send up a feed of your shipments and cancellations, which makes it even more worthwhile to me - as long as I'm running ads.
But organic benefit? Nope. There's no there there.

I concur. No direct SEO benefit whatsoever.

Thank you, as far as what you have to add to your site, it's some javascript on your order receipt page?

I dunno, the dev did that, but it shows up on every page. There might be extra stuff that shows up on the confirmation page, but any Google Trusted Store has a floating badge that goes on every page.
