I am merging multiple wordpress sites into one domain. These are sites I purchased in the same niche, and I would like to aggregate their traffic into one site, which will better allow me to sell sponsored posts. I am setting up 301 redirects.
Should I be concerned about how many domains I redirect to a single new one? I'm a bit worried that Google will think I am trying to artificially aggregate backlinks or otherwise somehow mess with the rankings, when really I just want all the material under one site while preserving traffic that comes in from social media. Right now I have two domains merged into the new site and I would like to merge perhaps 3-4 more into it.
