Dynamic title - alright with Google?

Hi all,

Our travel website ranks top 10 for high end (major) search queries on Google.

But we have many subpages with strong texts and content which don't rank well. At these subpages we use dynamic titles, such as "travel to New York for $YY". The YY changes every day along with the price for the destination.

I am wondering whether these dynamic titles cause the problem with the Google ranking of these subpages. Do you guys know if Google is alright with these dynamic titles?

Thanks,

If your object is to guarantee that google ignores your page's intended title and substitutes its own, that's probably a good way to go about it. Is the page content about "flights for $YY" -- which changes day by day -- or is it about "cheapest flights anywhere"?

It's about a destination with description, lowest fares, points of interest and such things. Perhaps best to drop the price in the title tag?

You might as well drop it, because even if Google didn't mind the dynamic title, it wouldn't be displaying the real-time price in its SERPs.
