Hi,

I've been following the search queries impression on Google Webmaster Tools.

Just since September 14, 2014 the search queries impressions have gone down by 50% over a period of 4 weeks time uptil today!

Is this a result of the Google search update?

How to rectify this traffic issue? My earnings have gone down because of this.

thanks!

Has your actual traffic gone down? Or is it just reporting this is GWT? What about analytics?

join the club b2r, same problem here. Wish I knew how to help. Maybe it's another animal Google let loose... perhaps it's the Dodo update; makes your site extinct.

Mid day here, traffic should be bangin', but guess how many on the site? yup, two. Always two. It's like the mean convenience store owner who only allows two kids in the store at a time.

Well you need to start diving into your analytics, see what keywords have dropped, what pages are getting less traffic to try to diagnose your problem. You might also have new competition. There was a new Panda rollout; you could see if you could identify the day when it dropped and see if that falls within the rollout. Nobody can give you one answer, but if you do some searching in this forum, there are lots of posts on how to diagnose traffic drops.

Then you very well might have been hit by Panda or one of the other algorithm factors that deal with that. If your content is available elsewhere, you have to have a pretty compelling reason to rank for it.
