Hey guys, I'm just hoping someone might be able to help me out with understanding Google+ URL names. In the address below 'Example = Our exact domain name).
I started a Google+ account and was given the url plus.google.com/+ExampleAu and have a few posts and followers on there.
It's good but not ideal because of the Au at the end. I only own the .com.au of our domain name, would that be why they added Au? The /+Example (without Au) is not being used.
I also have an old youtube account which I want to start using again and connect it to our Google+. This youtube account has our exact brand name of [
youtube.com...]
I'm not able to add it to my already made Google+ account because the youtube account is under a different Google email address. So the only way of linking them would be to start another Google+ account.
My question is, if I do this, because my youtube account has our preferred URL would Google+ then match this and give us our URL of plus.google.com/+Example?
Or is the Au with our first account simply because we have an Australian domain name and Au will always come up regardless?
