301 multiple domains to single domain

I have three content sites that have good links and PR. However I abandoned them a few years ago, cleaned them out and reduced them to a gateway homepage which basically links to the site I now spend all my time at.

My question is whether I should keep the three domains using the gateway pages or should I just go ahead and remove the gateway pages and do a 301 redirect to my main site. fyi, they are all related in topic. thanks!

It depends. Here are a few questions:

Do these three domains rank well?
Do they get traffic?
Does your main domain subsequently gets traffic from them?
Do they target specific keywords / aspect of keywords that your main domain does not target or is weak on?

1. They ranked ok. They are old domains that did well in the past, but they have been cleared out for awhile. Still good PR though.
2. Not much because there is no content

4. No, they are in my target keywords
