Hello everybody,

please help me because the last days i will get crazy.

In 13th August i made a big change in my site, i setup ssl certificate in the all site and change with redirect all the urls from http to https.

I trusted magento and selected the option to 301 redirect the old urls with the new. But instead of 301 redirect it had done 302 redirect.

In 16th August, i noticed that the rankings were going up and down and changed the 302 redirect to 301 fro the htaccess.
Till 17th August the site rankings disappeared from google.

I have also added in webmaster tools the https version and also new sitemap.

My site is https:// www. example.gr/ and the 301 redirected is http:// www. example.gr

Can you please tell me the following:

1. Will the rankings come back or not?
2. The rankings lost from 302 redirect or something else?
2. What else to do?

Thank you very much

1. Assuming a) there wasn't a Google update that happened to roll out at the same time you made your changes and b) no other technical errors were made that prevented Google from crawling and indexing your site, I would expect your rankings to come back.

2. It's impossible to say.

3. Do a full technical audit of your site to make sure that there is absolutely nothing on your end that could be preventing Google from crawling or indexing your site.
