How long does it take google to de-rank a webpage ?
I noticed it ranks webpages quickly but apparently it takes while to de-rank it.

What do you mean by de-ranking it? Removing it from its index?

I did a test and managed to rank my website at a certain spot on google with that test. Let's say I was 50 th and I am now 20 th. I want to go back to 50 th. To get back there I did put my website exactly the way it was when I was 50 th. The thing is that my ranking hasn't decreased even though I am expecting it too. Is there a reason for that and how long can it take ?
