Sitewide Links from International Versions of Site

Hi all,

I'm trying to get to the bottom of the potential dangers of having sitewide links pointing from the international versions of our site, to our UK site.

For example, we have a .com domain serving the USA, and a .com.au domain serving Australia. Both sites have a link to the company's blog which sits on .co.uk. As this link is in the main menu of both international sites, we now have hundreds of links from each site pointing to .co.uk.

Is it worth cleaning these up by making them nofollow across the board? Is there any benefit in keeping one link on the home page as a dofollow link?

Many thanks.

Is the site WhoIs information public and the same? If it is the same then I think you have nothing to worry about.
