Hi,
Most seo's wouldn't like to get a link from a low quality spammy or adult content website, but what about pop up traffic from these websites?
just for this question please ignore "bounce rate" as a parameter.

just to be clear - a website that appear in a pop up from a low quality website , could he get hurt in the search results or not?

Do you mean these popups and pop-unders that happen when a visitor lands on the spammy site?

My question is - can they be a good quality sites if they engage in this kind of marketing tactic?

Personally, I would not like to have a link from these.

Yes this is what I meant,
it might not be the best marketing tactic, but if you can get REALLY cheap traffic (or lets say even Free traffic from pop ups)
