Any updates from sites hit by the top heavy update on Feb 6th 2014?

I'm curious if any sites that were hit by the top heavy algorithm that launched in February have seen any further changes since then.

After the algorithm hit my site I removed the ads from 80% of the pages on the site. Two and a half months in I'm seeing no improvement. If anything my traffic has been slowly and steadily dropping.

Here is a link to the discussion from that algorithm update: [webmasterworld.com...]

There are at least 2 main types of updates:
- non-stop, like Panda Reverflux
- periodical updates: Penguin, Top Heavy, Over optimization etc.

We had 3 Page Layout updates (official)
[moz.com...]

6 Feb 2014
8 oct 2012
19 Jan 2012

So, in this case we are talking about one year period.

Now we are late for a Penguin update.

I believe you are affected by Panda... (classic Syndrome).

deadsea, i think i read something that Cutts said regarding the the update, that the sites been hit have to wait until the next update.
But i think mentat is right too. This was not an top heavy update but a panda algo chage too going online tih this update.

I am highly confident that it was the top heavy algorithm that hit my site. My traffic has changed with every one of the page layout updates:

19 Jan 2012 - down 40%
8 oct 2012 - up 31%
19 Jan 2012 - down 21%

My traffic has never had major changes with any other algorithm release.

If your site is super-big or super-difficult to crawl, it may take several weeks for you to "recover" from this update. Google has said it would have to crawl a significant number of improved pages to have a clear "signal" that you have indeed improved the layout. See:
[googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.co.uk...]

Also, there is an indication that ads might not be the only culprit. You have to check your site on different screen sizes with different browsers and make sure visitors see enough of your content to be compelled to stay on the page.

@deadsea
I have this same problem. My site has been hit strongly 6th February - I lost 2/3 search traffic. I had then only 1 ad above the fold (but all 4 ads codes was at the top so googlebot could understood this that all ads on my website are on top) so its very incomprehensible for my. I deleted all the ads 14th February and to this day there is no result. My friend's site also has benn hit then and also no recovery. Maybe Google team forgot refresh this algoritm?
