I just got a pitch this morning from an outfit that was offering guest posts on blogs ("PR1+") for--drumroll--two dollars each.
Next thing you know, guest posts will be on the McDonald's dollar menu.

WOW -- It used to be free to tank my own site, now it's $2 a post to do it? And they say there's not inflation -- If that's not inflation, idk what is...

One has to make sure that they are high quality blogs and that the guest posts are at least 500 words in length! #irony

I don't doubt these people are e-mailing everyone, including Google, highlighting their details and making them a target.
$2 is hardly worth a punt on the horses, but go for it anyway! ;)

Where's the outfit located? Bangladesh? $2 would barely even cover the expenses of adding, uploading and archiving the content.

It's not for your site...it's the "negative seo" fire sale :)

Your guess wasn't too far off, continentally speaking. The e-mail was from a UK domain, but the sender IP was in New Delhi.

Still have $2 bets, but most of those never pay off...
