WMT gone crazy?

Has anyone else had a massive spike in search queries/impressions in the last few days? Mine has gone from around 1500 impressions to 21,500. No real spike has occurred as far as I can tell and clicks have pretty much stayed where they were. I can only assume WMT has gone a bit crazy in the heat.

Not a massive spike, but I have seen something of a growth over the last month (10% increas).

And march 3rd I had about 20% more impressions than I normally get.

but nothing like the increase that you saw.

I've seen 2 big spikes on one site, March 29th and April 2nd - both impressions surged, while clicks stayed about the same.

Yes biggest spike in a year. Normally followed by ranking change a week later

Positive or negative ranking change, CW? Are you saying you got a similar spike too?

Ive seen both to be honest Jez123. The only pattern ive seen is..

Large spike, then after if daily pages crawled increases = ranking increase.

Large spike, then after if daily pages crawled decreases = ranking decrease.

Yes I spiked on the 4th massivly.

I hope you are wrong chalkywhite, my crawl rate has been very low since the spike. :(
