I've many backlinks from a site: mrwhatis.net. It gives out only dofollow links.

Is there any way to check if a site is spammy and I should disavow complete domain(In GWT) rather than checking each link in it?

There is no simple and guaranteed way to tell if a domain is spammy and should be disavowed. Many people will sell you tools and services but they are not Google and only Google knows for certain.

I suggest you ask yourself how would Google define a poison link?

There are some signals that would make me nervous and more likely to disavow a domain. Here are a few:
-ROS links
-Domain not sending any direct traffic
-Unnatural anchor text ratio
-Root domain missing pagerank

Feel free to share other metrics you use to cull your links.

(I can almost hear the tiny little screams for mercy as the links are tossed into the inferno known as the disavow tool)

As mrwhatis.net is giving out links to numerous domains on every page using Dofollow so it looks spammy at a first glance.

To find out a poison link I use following heuristics:

A) If it is showing Adsense the site could be trustworthy.
B) If site's Alexa is less than 65,000 or so then it should be trusworthy.
C) If the site's Alexa is greater than a million then it should be suspicious. In any case I disavow links from sites with Alexa more than a 5 million.

There are a lot of spammy sites that show adsense, aren't there?

I think Adsense is a noisy signal to use. Yes you need to be approved to get into Adsense so it could be a sign of quality but once accepted you can put it on anything including spammy sites. IMHO Adsense does not prove risk or safety.
