How long till title/description/keywords changes propagate on Google?

Hi,

We have a medium sized website. We have made some changes in the main sections of the site (changes to the title/description meta tag/ keywords meta tag)

How many days do the changes reflect in Google Search?

Are Title/description/keywords meta tag matter still?

Some insight would be helpful and appreciated much!

When I've done this it's usually shown in the SERP's within 2-3 days.

Depends on how often you're crawled and how often your content generally updates, I have found. My event stuff can get changed in ten minutes; Google probably knows it's time sensitive. But if I change something that has been pretty much static for weeks or months or years, that can take a lot longer, even if it's a popular page.
