Hello,

I just did a search with safari for site:example.com and my homepage appears 2nd ?

However, if I do the same search in with google chrome I am 1st and everything is fine ?

Why is that ?

Thank you,
.

[edit reason] changed example to example.com, since it can never be owned [/edit]

personalized search results?
do you use one browser more than the other?
are you logged in on one or the other?
did you log out, clear your cookies and try again with both browsers?
have you tried from your mobile browser?
have you asked a friend in another location to try that search?
have you tried a 3rd browser on your desktop?

Also each browser will do it's own DNS search. So you may be dealing with different Google IP addresses too.

personalized search results?

That's what it's been the times I've seen it on things I work on.
