My seasonal website is for every keyword I checked (more than 40) is on 1st page of Google search blogs. The issue here is that barely anyone searches for blogs and don't have any visits from it.
On organic search am nowhere to be found, not even on top 100. Am not sure what to do now and how to improve organic search? This also tells me that I wasn't hit by any penguin update because it ranks so well in Google search blogs or search blogs don't matter and are not counted in penguin updates?

Is your site a blog? Or uses platform that is usually used by blogs?

Some have speculated that Google Blog Search is not subjected to the same algorithmic conditions that global search has. It also may not have the same level of personalization as is found in global search.

Google does have a tendency to show Blogspot blogs in global search queries, but it is a product that they own. I'm not sure if Google really wants to show more blogs when other content outside of Blogspot can satisfy a user's query.

I run wordpress blog on my own domain. Still no organic search keyword positions. Year ago my site was on top of mostly every Google country for specific keywords on organic, now it only remains on Google search blogs.

Am getting to think that blogs in organic search don't have much value for Google. On the other side am on 1st pageof bing.com, yahoo.com and yandex.com.

Can you pinpoint the ranking loss to a specific date(s)? Or was the loss in ranking gradual?

Greatest drop was in January 2013 but I still remained on 1st page of some countries but later month after month decreasing. After Hummingbird came I was not at top 100 anymore.
