why do my individual blog posts have no PR while my main page does?

I've noticed that my blog's main pg. has a PR: 6 while my individual blog posts have either an N/A or 0 rank. Is there any way to find out why the individual pgs. are not being ranked?

I'm using a WordPress plugin which allows me to participate in Google Site Generator & I don't see it having any problems crawling my site.

If you're using the wordpress default?p=XX url format for posts, then the toolbar won't show the PR for them as, ISTR, it has problems fetching PR for pages with query strings.

Actually, I'm not using the default permalink structure. I'm using one that uses the post title in the URL.

A friend has just written me to say that unless your individual posts are well-linked to by external sites your PR is not going to be very high. And I don't think many of my individual posts are widely linked in that way so that prob. explains the '0' ranking for most individual post pgs.

If your main page has PR6 and is linking to them, then the inner pages should have a decent PR. Perhaps the toolbar just hasn't been updated with their PR yet?

I'm not quite sure how to check if my main pg. is linking to the inner pgs. But I do have a most recent post list plus monthly archives ea. on main pg. so these do link to inner pgs.

Also not sure what you mean by the toolbar not updating. Can you get it to update & determine whether or not it is updating?

don't worry about it. I had it happen on 2 of my ESTABLISHED sites. dropped from PR 5 and PR6 to PR 0. then PR came back on homepage, now it is on homepage only but not on subpages. Just something that happens.
