Never had this on google.com - only on above plus
on IN and CA (but for shorter periods: 4-8 hours).
Can I expect my overall traffic will grow by *5? :o)
Regards
Does anyone else see positive results for their phrases on that IP?
Forgot to mention, on that IP G has changed the listed title into "widget listings" the site theme being widgets and the folder name being listings, makes perfect English.
I am in Australia and I see bizarre (although exciting) results.
Someone told me that Australians will sometimes hit UK data centres but I don't know if its true.
My site ranks about 40th on most data centres for a very competitive term. For part of the day here in Australia, when I go to google.com, It shows at around nos 3 to 5. Then later on in the day, it drops back. These results I see contain WAY less spam. In fact, the "usual" results have 4 spammy results on page 1, but the "different" results have none until way down.
If I go to google.com.au (216.239.39.104), I get the old spammy results (in fact these are worse than the "usual" results I get on google.com- even more spam)
I get diffent IP's for google.com:
Ping google.com: 64.233.167.99, 64.233.187.99 etc
The URL of the cache fluctuates - at the moment it is 72.14.207.14 - its always 72.*
Anyone know why these IP's are different (ie ping for datacentre and the cache URL I see)?
I have spoken to people in the UK, South Africa and Seattle, WA and they don't seem to see the changed results.
Then I get an email from Houston TX yesterday that the site is at no 4. 24 hours later it is apparently still there...don't know IPs though.
What seems good about these "new results" is less spam. I have check numerous unrelated terms and they are way less spammy and much more relevant than the "usual" results...I am not just saying this in hope - it looks way better.
Cheers from down under
