Finding it very hard to get new stuff indexed

Particularly a couple of new blogs within established sites

This has only been the case for the last month or so but I am becoming quite frustrated that I have spent a lot of time adding new blogs to established sites and Google is n't eating them.

Google also don't seem to be picking up some new HTML content I have added.

Could it be because they are blogs and Google might be moving away from having blogs clogging up their main index?

try reading some of the many threads around here about how G is not crawling sites. I've had content up for over 4 weeks thats not even been looked at yet! despite being well linked into the site and having very good one way extremal links pointing to the pages - maybe someone should give G a lesson in building a bot that can crawl!

Yes, they should ask MSN, who are crawling and caching my new pages within a few days. Google are nowhere to be seen... as you can see from all of our moaning in here...

Seems like the new googlebots that came along with the BigDaddy package have a few bugs.

I read in another thread from someone who thinks Google are covering up a major problem. I'm beginning to think that really is the case. It's been going on for so long now (my site still has thousands of non existant pages showing in the SERPS that are over a year old) yet Google are saying nothing. I find this surprising because there's clearly a major problem with thier systems and they're relying on very old caches as a backup it seems.

I conclude that Google is broken, they're struggling to fix it and they're keeping quiet about it. I also think that their systems are such a hodge podge of patched systems and botched algos that they hardly know where to begin when they need to make changes. I could be wrong of course but I'm sure MSN will be watching this carefully and planning their comeback.
