I've seen several threads about Myspace but not this particular issue.
In several image searches over the last week, I found prodigious quantities of results from Myspace that were completely irrelevant to the search terms. They tend to start showing up on the second or third SERP instead of near the top so far, but the sheer volume was mindblowing. I don't remember this being an issue last time I used Google Images intensely a few months ago.
The best I can tell is that it is indexing the images by the poster's screen name. Some of the images made me wonder if the image had been replaced by the user after being listed.
Does anyone know why this is happening and if it is likely to get worse or better?
Thanks,
