Two Google Homepages: One for Firefox and one for IE

Noticed today that, if you visit Google.com with an IE browser, you'll see an ad for firefox. IF you visit with Firefox, it's clear as day.

Is this new?

In any event, very nice. I hope this helps win the good fight. Equal or dominant Firefox market share by 2007.

It has been that way for a while, johncory.

What I find ever more odd is the different serps that are presented based on your user agent, they are clearly different at most times of the month.

Try doing the same searches with both browsers, that can be even more interesting

HMMM, not sure I like the difference in results.

I'm only seeing a difference for searches like "Internet Explorer" though. Is that all there is to it, as far as all can tell?
