"Okay, either I'm going nuts and seeing things or Google is playing tricks on me."

No you are not going nuts. I think that its Google which has deployed something that makes us go nuts.

Please welcome Google Virtual Datacenters :-)

I saw serps today which I couldn't see on any of the DCs that we know. Therefore I posted today msg #:149 about [google.sk...]

feel that 64.233.187.104 is a 'blend' of 64.233.167.147 and 64.233.185.104.

FWIW I see them more as a slightly different emphasis on areas of the algorithm.

64.233.167.147 slightly more on page and inbound/outbound link relevance. Links to and from pages on the same topic are rewarded.

64.233.187.104 slightly less of what I described above which seems to give somewhat more weight to the volume of inbound links from pages regardless of whether they are authoritative or topically related to the page in SERPS.

I hope that 167.147 wins because relevance is more valuable tham thousands of paid for inbound links IMHO.

When doing a site:www.example.com search for my site the number of pages in the index changes every other search. It goes from 14 pages indexed to 79 pages indexed. I went back and forth about 15 times and it changed every single time. Is Google A/B Testing?

I hope that IP falls off the face of the earth!

In the sector I watch, paid site wide inbounds are rewarded in a big way.

On the vast majority of DC’s my site, plus 4 others I monitor, has sat basically the same for the past 72 hours. Like everybody a few DC’s deviate to my advantage but not enough to increase business significantly. Basically if it follows Google’s yearly pattern I don’t see any major shake-ups till July. I hope I’m very wrong. Everflux does have some advantages.

Good evening Folks!

And I thought that we are going to have a calm Friday. No way. DCs are moving again.
