Why do the Googlebots hate me?

2.5 weeks on, doesn't see my site

Hi there, first off, I read the form charter, but I could not find the WebmasterWorld Google FAQ? Please point me to it if it answers my question, naturally. Also, I wasn't able to find an answer by searching this forum, but perhaps I'm using the wrong search words? Please advise if that's the case...

OK, my question is pretty simple: I launched a website on 17 March 2006; the Googlebots have visited every day, but Google still has no listings for my site. My site is <edited>. If I use that as a search query at Google, I get zero results. If I search for the title of the site (I understand I'm not supposed to post search keywords here?), I get, for instance, Technorati caches with posts of mine listed (the site is a Movable Type blog), but Google still doesn't see the site itself.

Is this normal? It's just a blog, I know, but when someone types my name into Google, I'd like my blog to be one of the results - same when someone types the title of my blog into Google.

My site is listed at Yahoo and MSNSearch with no problems. Any advice/thoughts?

thanks and best wishes

Give it time.. it took my site over 3 weeks to get ONE page in google, then weeks more before they were ALL in..

MSN sucked up my site within days.. Yahoo took longer than Google..
