Google advertises it as a beta product that is incubating in the Google Labs, and uses its cutting edge personal search algorithms to gift you with a soul mate. It is further said that the feature would sponsor your first contextual Date with said soul mate-to-be, and in return would show you the relevant advertising which can make you hit with a cupid's arrow. Don’t' know how far does it work, but it simply would depend upon your luck.
So, try out until you succeed in the journey..and do not forget to pass on your prestigious tips to others, after you are being hit by the cupid arrow. Cheers! :)

That is so frickin funny ...
When I searched for my love, all the results were supplemental.
Does that mean they are all fat and ugly?

How could anyone NOT realise this was a joke? Rhetorical question....
Matt
How could anyone NOT realise this was a joke?
I believe the saying is "One born every minute" ;-)
Google has alwasy had the best April Fools jokes. The funniest part is every year, year in year out, on April fools day people get on WebmasterWorld and ask if this is real or go wow look at the new service.
From the profile subminssion page:
Fell for our April Fool’s joke, in which case ha ha, wasn't that amusing and harmless and mostly in good taste and not all psychologically damaging under various and sundry aspects of contemporary tort law, please don't sue us; or
obviously a cash-cow industry on the internet...and cash is king with google these days...
it was only 3 years ago Larry Page was speaking to a group of us in college saying how they had 125 million sitting around in cash and had no need to go public...
Hubes
Larry Page is such an introvert, he posts these private pics out to the world.
I'll bet that people who took the tour [google.com] know a lot more about Google's various features, and that they have a warmer, fuzzier feeling about Google's contextual ads.

2. you might want to take a trip down our April Fool’s memory lane, here or here or here or here. Enjoy.
The fact that so many people weren't entirely sure it was a joke is just further evidence of how much G has moved away from it's origins
No, it just means that some people are (1) really, really gullible, or (2) don't recognize any kind of humor that doesn't involve a pratfall or a pie in the face.
His name is Matt and he does something in IT. He says all the right things and makes me feel special, but I'm not sure he really means it. Sometimes he speaks in such general terms that I'm not even sure he's talking to me.
When I ask him for commitment, he only says "Wait a little while and everything will be OK" ... but I wait and nothing ever changes.
Should I chuck this loser or stick with him and hope he comes through?
... Google World Domination :-0
Huh? Welcome to planet earth. A year isn't enough time to learn all of our quaint customs. Some of them are silly, but not as silly as the absurd custom of sneering at quaint customs (which is, unfortunately, as well-known on earth as it undoubtedly is on your home planet.)
The Google April Fool goes back to Google origins, just like the special-day logos. Native earthling internet users will remember PigeonRank, Google Moonbase, Direct Brain Interface -- and in fact, there were links to prior years' gags in this year's.
