Google Sitemaps lost my robots.txt - is this normal?

I've been using google sitemaps for about 6 months now never had a problem. Well big daddy update came along and I lost most of my pages, but some are coming back now and then but there is still a lot of varience day to day and between datacenters.

I checked my sitemaps account today and google now longer has any information for my robots.txt file its been like that for about 2 days, and google has crawled my site since then. I checked and its there at the address google has for it and readable by anyone. Is this normal or has anyone else seen this. Should I worry or have I done something wrong?
