Hi,

Google is giving one service "Remove pages from google"

Is it good or bad to go for.

Will it bring any harm to the website.

Thanks

If you are trying to remove pages that no longer exist and now return a true 404 error then its safe to use.

It may take 2-3 weeks before the pages are removed.

They will reappear in the Google search results either 3 or 6 months later, even if the page no longer exists on the web.

Their system does not check the current status of the page at the time it is due to be added back into the index.

If the domain has since expired, then there is no way to get the page back out of the index, because the removal tool requires either a valid robots meta tag on the page, a valid robots.txt file in the root folder of the site, or a valid 404 error message from the webserver itself.
