Hello all friends!
I would ask you your help.............
I have a website page rank 4 created 1 year ago and from 15 days it has been disappeared from google.
I mean:
if I search it with two word keywords I can find the ranking (even if worst than 15 days ago........)

BUT IF I SEARCH IT WITH ONE WORD KEYWORDS I CAN FIND IT. THERE IS NOT RANKING.

Someone could help me? Maybe it has been added on sandbox?

thank you!

Hello anna123,

Welcome to WebmasterWorld!

Right now there is a lot going on with the latest Google update named Big Daddy and a lot of people are experiencing similar results.

Check this thread [webmasterworld.com], especially tedster's Msg #2.

Hello Nancyb and all friends and thank you for your answer.
I have read tedster's Msg #2 and I find it very interesting.
But is there some hope that google can solve this trouble?

Born 1 year ago, well designed and optimised, I have also exchanging a lot of good links so it has reach page rank 4 and had a good ranking with 2 word searches and also with one word searches, before big daddy.

for my job, it is very important only one keyword. On the basis of this foundamental keyword I have created and optimised my website.

big daddy has destroyed all my work : If, before big daddy I had good ranking with my foundamental 1 word searches, now after big daddy, I have no ranking. It has disappeared for 15 days.

I 'm in despair.......how is possible that an update, even if is big daddy, can destroy a good ranking?

I know that we are in google hands, but can I hope my website come back soon?

thank you!

Hello all friends!

My website, which was disappeared at beginning of March, since last Friday, has now appeared again.........with a surprise: the current ranking is 500. (it is continuosly jumping, for example yesterday morning had ranking 45 but now it is fixed at ranking 500).

Is it possible that big daddy could make worse a website ranking?
or is a temporary phase?

Thank you in advance!

I believe that it is permanently but what happens depends on how original you content is.

I believe that big daddy tries to boost the originally content at the expense of plagiarized or derivative (though not necessary duplicate) content.

Therefore the page about the widget in the site of the widget producer will go up in the SERP while the pages about the same widget in the directories that just resell the widgets will go down in all search results except may be local SERP.

It explains why many directories have lost their SERP position except for the home page, which is always original.

Similar the content of the original author will go up and plagiarized (scrap) pages will go down.

Vadim.

There is NO content on this site... a homepage only... how do you expect Google to rank this? I'm suprised you have even 12 URL only pages in Google... Wow!

Yes, it's 100% the sandbox. There are different steps and you have just entered one of them.

My website has an original content, but if it is not a temporary phase why the website is continuosly jumping?

There may be many reasons. Just a few (they are actually related)

1. When you connect to Google, it directs you to the data center that is free now. So you may see today the result from one data center and tomorrow from the other. It takes time for the data centers to synchronize the results.

2. Your competitors may take your place. If you have a competitive keyword and there are many competitors with almost the same relevance even a little shift in the relevancy may cost you hundreds SERP positions. It is probably especially true for the new sites.

3. There is indeed one temporary reason, because Google now is fixing supplemental result glitch and because there is the transition between Big Daddy and old data centers. If you would like to see how your result looks like in Big Daddy, i.e. will look like when transition will be finished, connect directly with
66.249.93.104

However, the first two reasons are more likely, so the best way is to have stable position is to make your site much better than the competitors sites. I mean for customers, at least so Google says.
