Hi. I've heard that google update their cached copies of sites depending on several factors which include how many links point to the site etc. I was wondering what the worst case scenario is? If there was info I didn't like on a cached page, what's the longest time it could take to update? Is it possible for a few really bad URL's never to have cache updated?

Wecome to the forums, ttimm.

I can't say there's any absolute rule here -- of course the worst case scenario is that you can't get the page indexed at all. So if it is in the Google cache, then you're already one step up.

If a page seems stuck for too long compared to other pages on the same site, I would try giving it one new inbound link. An external link would be awesome, but even an internal link from a more frequently spidered page on the same domain would probably help.

I also siggest watching your server logs to see what Googlebot is and isn't requesting. You may uncover some clues that way.
