Right now, I am trying to figure out the best way to increase the pages that are indexed in the Bigdaddy DC.
From what I have read, it seems that the Mozilla Googlebot is the new Googlebot that is creating the new index.
I haven't used sitemaps before, but I was wondering if implementing sitemaps on my sites may increase the Mozilla Googlebot activity on my site. Obviously the only way I am going to find out is to do it myself, but I was wondering if anybody using sitemaps has noticed if they show up well in the Bigdaddy data center or not. If you have any ideas about the differences between the old Googlebot and the new Mozilla Googlebot that you want to share that would be great too.
[72.14.207.104...] - This seems to still have the old index, and my sites show up very well indexed here. In fact, I have just created a new site the past couple of weeks, and it is already starting to be indexed here.
[66.249.93.104...] - The new Bigdaddy data center is a little different. It has only about a third of my older pages indexed, and my new site has not been indexed yet. The new site just had the Mozilla Googlebot visit so I am hoping that it will soon show up in the new data center.
I imagine I am not the only one dealing with this issue so if you have any ideas, suggestions, or observations, they are greatly appreciated.
I have another new site (smae scale as the one mentioned before) completed last week and it is not in any Google index. Just Submitted its sitemap last night. we'll see what happen.
good luck with your sites
