301 from /folder/ to subdomain.domain.com

To recover from a persistent supplemental problem, a month ago I installed a mod rewrite that redirects a handful of /folder/ to subdomain.domain.com. So far, Yahoo and MSN seems to have picked them up quickly, but Google is taking its sweet time indexing the subdomains.

The links on my site still point to /folder/. I'm planning to change the url once most of the new urls are indexed and (hopefully) the old urls are dropped.

Should I change all my links to point to the new URLs?
