Question about duplication on Home Page

Hello,

I have a few internal pages on my website with descriptive text. I would like to like to some of these pages from my Home page. If I use the same "descriptive text" on the Home page as these internal pages, is that considered a duplication by Google and will I get penalized?

It seems that there is no specific answer to your question but there is a general one:

Think how to make good for your customers and not how to avoid the penalty.

It seems that Google decides, comparing the site with the average statistical picture and allowing natural statistical fluctuations and deviations.

It means that if you have a reason to believe that you do something similar to that "white hat" site owners do you are safe because the primary goal of any honest site is to satisfy the customers and not the Google.
