We have a site that was changed from .htm to .asp. All URLs are now different except the home page URL. 301s were put in place at time of change. Google has indexed the new pages and shows the .htm pages as supplemental. The new pages do not rank at all.

The changes were implemented at end of September.

Is there anything we can do to improve our Google situation? Or is it just a case of waiting it out and getting more links?

You don't have to have the filenames as .asp at all - you could have left them as .html and simply changed the server settings to recognise that they contained ASP scripts (same for PHP scripts too by the way).

Anyway, too late for that now. Make sure that all internal links are 100% perfect. Use Xenu LinkSleuth to check.

Make sure too, that all non-www URLs redirect to www for all pages of the site.
