Not Ranking with my own unique domain name?

I was wondering if anyone had experience with not ranking for your own VERY UNIQUE domain name.

when I do a G search for MYOWNUNIQUEDOMAIN, I rank 50+.

when I do a search on MYOWNUNIQUEDOMAIN.com I get the index page, but just the URL.

the index page is PR6 and the site has been around since 2001.

any ideas?
