BRUSSELS, Belgium - European publishers warned Tuesday that they cannot keep allowing Internet search engines such as Google Inc. to make money from their content.
This should be more happy news to Google investors :-). After all, what good is a company whose crucial source of revenue is causing this much controversy?

It's been amazing to me how long it took this point of view to gain some traction. It's an issue that needs to be hammered out for the sake of the future. BTW, I don't agree with this point of view about search -- but don't get me started about the Google cache.
