I have two websites, one is about 2 years old and the other will be a year in Jan. The oldest site is on the 3rd page of my main keyword with Google. The newest one is nowhere to be seen.

Here is where it gets interesting.....The newest one has content being thrown on it everyday. Infact Google is always crawling my site and has 3x pages indexed than the other site. It also has 50% more links than the old one.

Does this sound like a sandbox issue to you?

Thanks!

If you can't find any search that returns your site, then it does sound like the sandbox effect. When you look in your server logs, is there any search traffic coming from Google? If so, check out those search terms.

Really depends on other issues. If it returns a ranking for all in anchor, all in text or all in url and if it has a respectable number of ibl's for the category you are in ...yes you are sandboxed. Could be issues keeping it there tho. 11 months-long time.

Well most of my traffic is from Google. I just found with my other site it all of a sudden gained ranking in Google. Also with that site it has been a while since I have done any updating. This site that is low in rankings I update everyday. Googlebot visits everyday too and crawls a lot of my site. Google even says I have 12,000 pages indexed. I don't have 12,000 pages. Maybe half that.
