No backlinks showing in Google

Google's backlink reports are for entertainment value only. For any serious analysis, I consider it completely broken.

That said, it does seem mighty odd to get NO backlinks at all for a PR 6 page. Might be a temporary "data canters are not in synch" situation.

Google doesn't want you spamming your competitors ibl's for a link so they just don't show much if any. Want to know- go to yahoo and do linkdomain:www.mysite.com and you get a fairly accurate count.

Google may not show all the backlinks but usally it will show some.

I have a site that does not show any backlinks in Google and I suspect it is some sort of a penalty. My traffic has plummeted after the latest update. I was getting scraped like crazy.
