Building a linking matrix

I am trying to build a linking matrix for all of my external sites, but I would like some help.

I have a product website that carries about 100 of my own products. I would like to create a website for each product that has detailed information on that product.

Here is my concern: I am afraid if I build all of these sites and simply link them all together, I will be creating a bad neighborhood.

So I would like to link them in some sort of matrix, like this:

Site A links to B, B links to C and D, D links to F and G, C links to E, E links to H, H links back to A and I, etc....

Am I on the wrong path here. Any suggesstions? I know I need to have these site on different servers etc...

I just dont want to do anything to cross the boundaries and get penalized.
